The original Universal Weapons Rack that was designed by soldiers just like you. Your UWR® storage system is ready to securely store a variety of weapons from rifles to side arms, gear bags to optics, all utilizing the same cabinet frame.
The cabinet frame comes in multiple sizes from the 18” high UWR mini, to the standard size of 45” all the way up to the 84” tall cabinet. The UWR Storage System combines thoughtful design and unmatched features to create a system that’s thoroughly secure, dependable and instantly deployable under any circumstance.
Available in a variety of sizes to accommodate weapons of various lengths and types, Spacesaver’s UWR® was created with the understanding that the military doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all approach within their armories.
From the M4 to the M249, ammo to suppressors, and handguns to Pelican™ Cases, we have created standard solutions to accommodate whatever your armory can come up with. And in the rare case we don’t have a solution for your specific need, custom options are available.
Expanding an arms room may not be an option, but you can create additional space by optimizing your storage solution. Each standard 45” UWR can hold up to 15 weapons with optics, while the 84” cabinet can fit up to 30 rifles. Combine these with Spacesaver’s High-Density Mobile System, and eliminate wasted aisle space and greatly increase armory capacity.
Transport components like barrel supports, casters and handles can be equipped on any unit, and prevent the weapons from movement, vibration, shock and abrasion when in transit. The Spacesaver UWR has been tested to meet the physical security requirements of OPNAVINST 5530.13C and AR 190-11 and are a beneficial component to transporting and storing weapons consistent with military physical security requirements. UWRs can stand alone on the floor, be stacked two high, and can be ganged together.
They can also be mounted on mobile carriages. In any instance, the rack can be easily moved to another location. Simply remove the unit from the floor or mobile system, and carry it to its future destination.

While multiple weapons racks have been assigned NSNs, the UWR was the first to be assigned at the request of the military. Plus, the UWR is the only weapons rack with NSN-assigned accessories, meaning all components can be purchased using Class IX funds.
